I was thinking of Sri Pada. Almost the whole left side of the canvas is flowers. If the mountain is standing there in the distance, then what is in front of it is a mountain of flowers nearly as large. Pilgrims climb through the night in the season and offer flowers at the footprint on the summit, and that is where the idea came from. I have never made the climb, though I would like to very much. So this is the version I have. I went in my imagination first and painted what I found when I arrived.
