Only a Worksite

Sigiriya while it was still being built, or the approach to it being built. I imagined the hill at the base shaped into terraces and held with rubble walls, brick staircases going up through them, the rock cut into footings and sockets, the face plastered, and a great many people working at the same time on the same thing. What I liked about the idea is that it is a picture of a famous place before it was famous, when it was only a worksite, and nobody standing in it could have known what they were making.
