There is more brown here and less green. It is a tree that has been cut down by people and is still trying to live. Once a tree is cut, not much can save it, and it goes on trying anyway. The stubbornness after it is what I wanted. People do the same thing. Someone is put down by others and finds a way to get back up without much reason to believe it will work. I painted the trying and left the outcome out of it.
